PluginFactory Smart Image Formats converts uploaded JPG and PNG files to WebP and AVIF when supported by the server.

== Installation ==
1. Upload the plugin ZIP in Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
2. Activate the plugin.
3. Open PluginFactory > Smart Image Formats.
4. Click „Convert existing images“ to process older media.
== Frequently Asked Questions ==
= Why is AVIF not always generated? =
AVIF depends on server-side support in Imagick or GD.
= Why do I still see JPG when I copy the image URL directly? =
The original file still exists. The plugin serves WebP or AVIF in frontend markup using a picture element where supported.
